Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an invite?
No. Quillstitch is in early access, but it's open to everyone — create an account and you're in straight away. There's no waitlist and no approval step.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes. Both paid plans include a 7-day free trial with full access to the design tools. We collect a card upfront so your plan continues seamlessly, and you can cancel anytime before the trial ends.
What machine formats do you support?
We currently export to Tajima DST and Bernina/Melco EXP. Support for Brother PES, Janome JEF, Husqvarna VP3, and Singer XXX is coming in the very near future.
It's early access — what should I expect?
A tool that does the job, with rough edges we're actively filing off. You'll hit the occasional bug, and some formats and the desktop app aren't here yet. In return you get in early, and your feedback genuinely shapes what we build next.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime. You'll keep access until the end of your billing period. The 3-year plan is billed once every three years.
Do I need a powerful computer?
No! Quillstitch runs right in your web browser with no installation needed. A native desktop app is also coming soon for offline access and extra performance. Any laptop with a modern browser works perfectly—no expensive hardware required.
